I attended S.F.A. and worked for the college intramural department as head lifeguard for the indoor/outdoor pools.
After graduation, I was offered a position at Bay City ISD. I spent four years working in Bay City. I loved coaching but wanted to pursue coaching at the high school level, so I gladly accepted a position at Tidehaven High School. I enjoyed working as the freshmen volleyball coach and the J.V. basketball coach.
I then had two lovely boys while I worked on my masters in counseling. After spending time at home with my children I was offered a position at Matagorda Elementary as the 4th,5th, & 6th grade math teacher and TAKS Coordinator. During this time I finished up my masters.
I have been blessed to have the opportunity to be hired here at Needville High School. I cannot put it into words how happy I am here! My kids are going to get the best education possible. My husband and I could not be happier with any other district, and plan on being here for a long time to come.
