U.S. History - This is an action-packed course that will cover the Age of Discovery up until Reconstruction for the first six weeks of school. We examine the making of America and attempt to understand the complex issues in America today.

A.P.U.S.History - This is a fast-paced college level course that covers Pre-Columbian America to current day events. It is an intense course and requires a considerable amount of self-discipline and great quantities of reading and writing.

Both classes prepare the student for the TAKS test. I hope all students come away with a greater appreciation for Americans who have come before and have shaped the world in which we live today.

I grew up in the Philadelphia area where I developed an appreciation of U.S. History. After moving to Texas with my sister, I attended University of Houston main campus and graduated with a degree in History. My husband and I currently live in Rosharon.
