Children are a gift to all of us. It is our duty to make sure that we are a part of each one of their lives. This surrounds my philosophy that all children can and will learn, and I will be a part of that process. My goal is to help mold every child toward being a productive human in society.

I have been in education for twenty-two years and seven of those years have been at Needville ISD. I received my Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Houston in 1983 and my Master of Education in Administration and Supervision from the University of Houston-Victoria in 1996. I am married and have two children, both of whom have graduated from Needville. I enjoy being outside and doing activities with my children, and I enjoy watching all types of sports, especially rodeo. Both of my children rodeo, and I have had the opportunity to travel with them to many places.
