About Student Council |
The purpose of the student council is to give Needville High School students the opportunity to undertake leadership roles within the school community. The five key officers (President, Vice Pres., Secretary, Treasurer, and Reporter) are nominated and then elected through a school wide election.

Who Can Participate? |
All students in grades 9-12 can actively participate in the student council. |

Benefits of Paricipating |
Students should consider joining student council because it helps to build character and leadership skills, promotes effective decision- making, helps develop organizational skills, and helps to develop a sense of responsibility. Student Council may also help in preparing you for any type of leadership position in the future. (It looks great on scholarship applications too!) |

When and Where Does Student Council Meet? |
Meetings are normally on Wednesdays at 7:40am in the Interact room. Please listen to the announcements or check for updates to find out when the next Stu. Co. meeting will be. |
